ORGANIZATION SPOTLIGHT The Silver Star Families of America The Silver Star Families of America was founded to fill this gape. www.silverstarfamilies.org Our mission is to provide a Banner to every wounded Soldier from ALL wars. (Our definition of wounded includes those member of the military that have contracted a serious illness such as PTSD or have been injured in the line of duty and are not illegible for the Purple Heart) It is our goal that every time someone sees a Silver Star Flag flying over a hospital or a Silver Star Banner in someone’s window, that they remember the blood sacrificed for this great nation. Since our founding we have expanded our service to the wounded by providing books, calling cards, playing cards, CD’s, and whatever our members send to us, to various military and V.A. hospitals. We would like to ask that you pass the word along that the Silver Stars will provide a Banner and Certificate to our honored wounded. (As funds permit) |
