COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT & VOLUNTEER WORK
Bridget Daniels Carlson finds satisfaction in helping others in need, and therefore, spends a majority of her time volunteering for different causes. Below are some of her current and past volunteer activities.
HOT2HI (Helping our troops 2 help Iraqis)
Bridget volunteered her time collecting items for our troops to give to the Iraqi people as well as promoting this cause. She collected approximately 2000 pounds worth of clothing and household goods which was then sent to Iraq where her then husband's unit was stationed. Bridget became involved in May 2006 when this "mission" first came about and she was asked to help collect donations.
PTA President
Bridget became the PTA President at her children's school during the 2006-2007 where she spent a great deal of time coming up with ideas and ways to improve the students education, parental involvement both in and out of school, and raising funds for both the PTA and the school.
T-Ball Team Mom
Bridget became her daughter's T-Ball Team Mom in April 2007 when her then husband became Head T-Ball Coach of their daughters T-Ball Team. She provided drinks and snacks at the games & practice, as well as maintained the team roster and schedule.
